we went with an old favorite, but did it wrong. No picture until we mix it right.
Tasting Notes
Rory: We’ve had these a few times before, but not since we started taking notes. It calls for passionfruit puree, but we used syrup since it’s what we can get.
I made each of ours separately, but it seems like I’ve mixed them both wrong. The passionfruit’s sorta strong this time? Everything else feels balanced, except the passionfruit flavor is so strong.
I’m not going to take any more notes because I don’t know that this is a particularly representative example; I’m not sure what’s up with the passionfruit, but it’s stronger than it has been.
Ryan: This was mixed incorrectly and has way too much passionfruit. Either we mismeasured or the passionfruit got a lot stronger in the fridge, but it’s not right. We also mixed them one at a time so I think measurement error had ane ffect too. This was a significantly less good drink than our past 3-4 iterations of this drink, which we didn’t write down. I won’t give further notes than this until I get to try it again with a better balance.
