A cleaner, less syrupy white negroni

Tasting Notes
Rory: We’d first had the white negronis a few months ago, but I didn’t recalling much liking them at the time.
I got a bottle of cocchi americano after the lillet blanc ran out, and maybe it’s the different whatever the generic word is, or maybe it’s that i needed to get used to it, but I like them a lot more now. It’s lighter than just suze, and brighter, and less syrupy.
Ryan: At some point, we got a bottle of Cocchi Americano and I feel it makes much better white negronis than Lillet Blanc. With the Lillet, I felt that the white negroni was pretty similar to just sipping suze straight. With the Cocchi it feels like the three components work together more. The drink is still very forward on the suze, of course, but there’s an underlying rich / white wine / savory herbal note from the cocchi. The gin helps make the drink less sweet and helps emphasize the brightness. Overall, I sort of liked the lillet ones (enough to have multiple) but I definitely like the lillet ones.
